Hello,

I am a retired U. S. Coast Guard Chief Warrant Officer and now a full time marine artist.  Several years ago I was commissioned by General Dynamics to paint a portrait of the Cruiser Topeka and one of the Submarine Topeka.  Both of these paintings were presented to the commanding officer of the sub as part of the commissioning ceremony and now hang in her wardroom.

Thank you very much for the painting copy of our ship.  I see that the forward antenna (the one on the beer can) is the one that was in use during my tour on board, (commissioning to Jan 1963).
