FROM THE PRESIDENT

Time is fast approaching Reunion 96 and great things had been planed in the city of our namesake. I hope you will all join us as we continue the fun times and exciting stories we didn't get to finish at Reunion 96.

The reunion has added an extra day this year so we will be checking in on Wednesday and concluding on Sunday

Don't forget your blue jeans, guitars, banjo, etc. our director has planned a trip down the old Oregon Trail Thursday evening complete with blue grass music, chuck wagon, barbecue and all.

Lots of other great things are being planned and you'll just have to be there or you will miss out. Reunion information is contained in this newsletter. Complete the registration form and return it to Dudley Cass at the address shown a soon as possible.

It will be great to see all of you again and finish all those tall tales we didn't get to finish in Virginia. The hospitality room will again be well stocked with your favorite, refreshments and we can all get down to some serious communications.

Y'all come, hear John Reynolds

WHAT YOU WANT IN A REUNION

The number of responses to the reunion questionnaire carried in the last newsletter was a little disappointing. A review of the questionnaire, however, indicates its construction was not the best. (You can blame this on the editor).

More than 40 replies were scored two ways and the results were the same in both cases. Primary reason for coming to a reunion is to see and visit old friends and make new ones. Tied for second were geographic location of the reunion and reunion events.

The encouraging result is that all but one of the replies indicated that they would most likely come to Reunion 96 in Topeka. One could assume that they were supposed to complete it only if they were coming to Topeka. This was not the intent. Determining reunion interest/priorities should not have been combined with coming/not coming to a specific reunion.
